How We Grade Our Used Instruments
All of our used products are fully checked, cleaned and honestly graded to ensure you know exactly what to expect from your purchase.  All of our grades are made taking into account the age of the product, so a product that is 15 years old rated as excellent may have more signs of use than a product that is 2 years old, also rated as excellent.

Ex-Display/Demo

These products will have had minimal use and in our opinion be as close to buying a brand new product as possible.

Excellent

These products will have light signs of use commensurate with a well looked after used product.

Very Good

These products will have signs of use associated with a played in product, but still in fine order.

Good

These products will show a few more signs of use, but have no major marks.

Fair

These products will show some more obvious signs of use and may have a few marks here and there.

Poor

These products will have some more serious marks or may have some form of damage. This will be described in the product listing.

Please Note:

Any mechanical faults will be described in the product listing, the grades above are for cosmetic purposes.
