What We Think About This Instrument
The Hyundai U822 is a superb acoustic upright piano that perfectly balances a bold, expansive sound with a sleek, modern footprint. Housed in a compact studio-size cabinet, this instrument delivers the depth and resonance of a much larger piano without dominating your living space. Finished in a striking, high-gloss polished wine mahogany, it serves as an elegant centrepiece for any home, studio, or practice room.

This particular model is in very good condition and has been meticulously prepared for its next owner. It has been fully checked by our in-house technician and tuned to concert pitch (A440), ensuring it is ready to play the moment it arrives in your home.

Whether you are a beginner embarking on your musical journey or an advanced pianist looking for a reliable instrument, the Hyundai U822 offers an exceptional playing experience that punches well above its weight class.

Product Highlights

Full 88-Note Keyboard: Offers the complete standard musical range required for all classical repertoire, examinations, and modern styles.
Rich, Warm Tone: Features a beautifully balanced acoustic voice with a deep, singing resonance that fills the room.
Even & Consistent Action: The keyboard mechanism provides a highly responsive, uniform touch across all registers, allowing for excellent dynamic control and expression.
Traditional 3-Pedal System: Includes the standard sustain and soft pedals, alongside the all-important practice pedal (muffler pedal) for quiet, late-night playing without disturbing family or neighbours.
Space-Saving Design: The modern, compact studio cabinet makes it an ideal fit for smaller rooms, apartments, or teaching studios without sacrificing tonal quality.

Our Verdict
In our opinion, the Hyundai U822 is a standout choice for players of all standards. It is rare to find a piano that combines such a big, robust tone with a modern, compact cabinet. Having been thoroughly inspected, regulated, and tuned to concert pitch by our team, it offers incredible reliability and value

How We Grade Our Used Instruments
All of our used products are fully checked, cleaned and honestly graded to ensure you know exactly what to expect from your purchase. All of our grades are made taking into account the age of the product, so a product that is 15 years old rated as excellent may have more signs of use than a product that is 2 years old, also rated as excellent.

New
These are brand new products & will be in a box or unboxed prior to assembled delivery

Ex-Display/Demo

These products will have had minimal use and in our opinion be as close to buying a brand new product as possible.

Excellent

These products will have light signs of use commensurate with a well looked after used product.

Very Good

These products will have signs of use associated with a played in product, but still in fine order.

Good

These products will show a few more signs of use, but have no major marks.

Fair

These products will show some more obvious signs of use and may have a few marks here and there.

Poor

These products will have some more serious marks or may have some form of damage. This will be described in the product listing.

Please Note:

Any mechanical faults will be described in the product listing, the grades above are for cosmetic purposes.
